Young And The Restless Scoop July 30: An Angry Kyle Tells Jack Jabot’s Days Are Numbered – Chelsea Has An Unfortunate Slip Of The Tongue With Billy
The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, July 30 reveals Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will tell Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that by next year, Glissade will be on top.
Also coming up, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will caution Kyle. Plus, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will make an accidental admission to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). And Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will learn her daughter won’t be going abroad after all.
Y&R spoilers tease Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will tell Victoria she’s not going to Paris after all because Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) got a court order. Then Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will walk in and they’ll head out to lunch together for yet another boring, saccharine conversation.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Not Going To Walk On Eggshells Anymore
At the GCAC, Audra will say it’s probably for the best that Claire and Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell) aren’t coming to Paris with them. As they get ready to head out the door with their suitcases, Jack and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will walk in. “So, are you two taking a trip?” Diane will ask.
But Kyle will tell his mom it’s none of her business. “I can tell you’re both scared,” he’ll add. However, Jack will tell Kyle he and Audra have been too busy sniffing the cheap cologne they’re peddling. “You’ll be lucky if you get a share of Jabot’s crumbs.” Kyle will say his father’s underestimating him. “This company you disparage has been decades in the making,” Jack will reply. “You want to best Jabot, knock yourselves out. Enjoy your flight.”
Once they sit down for lunch, Diane will ask whatever happened to Jack’s plan. “I’m not going to walk on eggshells anymore,” he’ll say. “I’m not going to endure my grown son acting like a spoiled, entitled little brat.”
Back at the entrance, Audra will say their car is there and Kyle needs to let it go. “Not a chance,” he’ll reply. Then he’ll march over to his parents table. Kyle will tell Jack to keep clinging to his old ways. “Jabot is a bloated dinosaur and Glissade will render it extinct,” he’ll add. “Maybe then you will give me the respect and recognition I deserve.”
On the Crimson Lights patio, Billy will tell Chelsea and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) he and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) suspect there’s more going on than they’ve told them. But Adam will say he already told Billy and Sally that he blew up at Chelsea. However, Chelsea will look confused and Sally will notice. Chelsea will ask Billy why he questioned Adam behind her back.
“You know, I’m not stupid and I’m picking up on the little looks between the two of you,” Billy will say and Sally will agree. “It’s like you’re checking in with each other to make you’ve got your stories straight.” Then Chelsea will start flipping out and will ask what it is they want them to confess.

Billy and Sally will tell them they can be honest. “I told you what was wrong Billy, I’m scared for my little boy, isn’t that enough?” Chelsea will ask. Then she’ll get up and walk away. Billy will follow her and Adam will tell Sally he can’t believe Billy dragged her into his paranoia.
However, Sally will say Billy’s just genuinely wants to help. “I don’t think you realize how much Billy hates me,” Adam will reply. Sally will ask Adam if he thinks Chelsea is holding something back. “What do the two of you want from us?” Adam will reply. He’ll say his son’s about to come home and he’s the only one that matters right now. But he’ll also apologize for taking his anger at Billy out on her.
Meanwhile, Billy will remind Chelsea that she can tell him anything. “We will talk, I want to put all the fear, guilt and mistakes behind me,” Chelsea will say to Billy, who will look surprised. Adam will walk out and tell Chelsea they need to get going.
“You really shouldn’t have pushed this,” Sally will say to Billy, after their partners leave. “I don’t know if you’re right about that,” Billy will reply. He’ll say Chelsea said something odd right before she walked out. “She said she wants to leave her fear, guilt and mistakes behind.”
Finally, on the way to the airport, Chelsea will tell Adam she’s on the verge of a nervous breakdown. “The lies, the cover story, it’s not what we need to be dealing with right now.” Adam will remind her it was one night and they never need to know they cheated. “Can I count on you Chelsea?” he’ll ask.
