Young and the Restless Next Week: Billy & Sally Accuse Adam & Chelsea

Hey Y&R fans, next week we’re going to see Billy Abbott grilling Adam Newman and Chelsea Lawson about what went down in Baltimore, and Sally is right there with him for it. Let’s dive right in because there’s some great stuff in here. But hey, please subscribe if you have not.

So, first of all, we have Victor Newman and Nick Newman chatting in the CEO office at Newman Enterprises. Victor is talking to Nick about this potential takeover of, I guess we’re calling it Chance Comm again since it’s not Chancellor Winters anymore—at least until Billy gets his way and it’s Abbott Chancellor, which is what he wants. Victor just bought M. Johnson’s shares, and Victor’s hoping to honor Catherine Chancellor’s legacy by buying her company for Nikki Newman to run. If you have not seen Friday’s episode yet, Victoria listens as her mom Nikki admits that, yeah, she really does want Chancellor. Victor’s wife would love to run Kay’s company and said it would mean a lot to her. Victoria considers warning Billy Abbott of a possible takeover attempt, but in the end, although Nikki tells her that Victoria can go ahead and alert him, her daughter decides not to because Nikki really wants Chancellor. So that’s the setup heading into this conversation between Victor and Nick.

We have Victor saying there’s one wild card to consider in all of this, and Nick’s asking, “And that is?” And Victor says, “Lily Winters.” I wonder where her loyalty is lying. That is a very compelling question indeed. Lily’s already chosen Chance Comm over heading back to Hamilton-Winters to work with brother Devon and cousin Nate Hastings, but Billy is a constant annoyance to her. Lily keeps having to rein him in, and it looks like she’s almost got a corporate babysitting job at this point. So I can see if Victor presented it to her in the right way, Lily might consider flipping on Billy and working with Victor. I could see that. And Nikki tells Victoria on Friday that she would absolutely keep Lily on if it were possible. So we’ll see how it all shakes out and if Victor can make it happen. But on Friday’s episode, I think it’s just this kind of a wake-up call for Lily. When Billy comes in with the new logo and first he was talking about Chancellor Abbott—remember when they were all together, he was talking, “Oh well, Chancellor Abbott.” Now he’s come in: Abbott Chancellor. “Abbott” is in this giant font about three times the size of “Chancellor.” This is his brilliant idea. This is the kind of thing that Lily knows she’s going to be dealing with from now until forever as long as she is working with Billy.

Alright, next let’s talk about some Abbott family action with Jack, Diane, Kyle, and a little bit of action with Audra over at the GCAC. So at this point, Jack Abbott definitely knows Kyle is running around with his ex-lover Audra, and Summer has just decided for no reason but her assumption that Kyle and Audra are back in bed together, which they are not. Audra has Nate warming her sheets, but Summer has made up her mind and that’s it. Kyle, meanwhile, is definitely on the outs with his mom, Diane Jenkins, and his daddy, Jack. He’s still angry that Diane fired him, and of course, Kyle got fired according to Mommy Dearest for constantly undermining Diane at work and overstepping his reach. And then Kyle got even saltier because his daddy, Jack, backed up Diane, and that really annoyed him. And then Kyle went ranting and said he was going to take Harrison and move out, and then later he tried to say they were throwing him out of the house, which never happened. Anyway, there’s so much animosity there.

Next week, Jack lays into Kyle out in public. So we’re going to see Jack saying to his son, “Oh, I clearly overestimated the amount of respect I thought I had instilled in you as an Abbott. I raised you better than this.” That’s kind of convoluted dialogue, thank you Josh Griffith. Basically, what all that dialogue is is that Jack is saying to Kyle, “You are disrespectful, and I raised you to know better.” So I’m guessing something to do with Diane. Diane and Audra are listening as Jack is accusing Kyle of disrespect. But the big question is, what’s Jack so upset about next week? I mean, he’s pretty much constantly upset at Kyle lately, which you know, we’ll know more when we have our full roster of spoilers that we will publish tomorrow. So be sure and come back then. This could be about Kyle’s custody battle with Summer. It could be that Jack figured out Victor is bankrolling Audra.

Alright, that’s all we have on that one. But here’s the big stuff—we saved the best for last. This is the spoiler I’m so excited to share with you guys. I’m so ready to see this play out on Young and the Restless next week. Huge, huge scene on Y&R with Billy, Adam, Chelsea, and Sally. The foursome are at Crimson Lights. Now, remember this: this whole past week, Chelsea has been steadily falling apart. Guilt is eating at her, she’s having a breakdown in the park. Adam was adamant that Chelsea keep quiet about their cheating in Baltimore, but Sally and Billy have growing suspicions that there is more to how weird their partners are acting since they came back from out of town. Adam tried to misdirect Billy’s suspicions by saying he drank too much and said some mean things to Chelsea, but these excuses sound hollow. Sally already asked Chelsea if something bad happened, and she freaked out and ran away from the redhead. So next week, Billy seems to be at the point where he has had enough, and I believe that Sally is at her limit as well.

So the two couples are sitting at Crimson Lights. We have Adam and Sally, and then we have Billy, and then we have Chelsea on the other side. Billy looks over accusingly at Adam, and Billy states firmly, “Something happened.” He’s not asking a question, he is stating it to Adam as if it is a fact. And then it gets crazier, because Sally comes in with a soft-spoken “Yeah.” It reminds me, you guys see The Breakfast Club when Andrew—he was the nerdy kid—his mom saying, “Get in there and study,” and he’s like, “Mom, we’re not allowed to study.” And she says, “Find a way, mister.” And the little sister goes, “Yeah.” That’s what it reminded me of. When Sally says the “Yeah,” she is agreeing with Billy, and they’re both looking to Adam for answers. And then Billy dives deeper into the accusation, and he says, “Something you’re not telling us.” Adam sits silent, arms crossed, looks like he is doubling down. He’s ready to keep lying and denying. But his ex-wife spirals into panic mode. Chelsea freaks out and starts shrieking, “What do you want us to admit? What exactly is it you want us to confess?” Well, well, well. It sure sounds like after Billy accuses Adam that Chelsea is not going to hold it together anymore.

Will she really tell Sally and Billy right there in the coffee shop that she and Adam made the twacked beast? Maybe. I talked about this recently in another video here on our channel. You can see why I think Sally may walk away from Adam, which I would absolutely hate. I’ll say that it’s not really about the one-night stand, which was under the influence of a lot of stress and whiskey. It’s more about Adam lying to Sally to her face over and over, and Chelsea doing the same thing to Billy. It’s the ongoing day-to-day betrayal Adam and Chelsea committed. The lies, the denials. We’ll see how it goes, but this is the most exciting spoiler for next week that I’ve seen. We could see two couples crash and burn. Will Adam still be with Sally when the dust settles at the end of next week? Has Chelsea lost Billy? Share your thoughts in the comments.
