The Outcome of Young & Restless’ Kyle Vs. Summer Custody Battle Has Already Been Decided

It’s gonna be round-the-clock lawyers for Young & Restless’ Kyle and Summer as they escalate their post-marital discord to the point of waging a custody battle for Harrison. And what neither of the former marrieds seems to realize is that the outcome of the case has already been decided — by them!

Any judge who isn’t in either of the Abbotts’ pocket or the Newmans’ would take one look at their behavior, recent and long-past, and ask say, “Sheesh. These are nightmare people. Are there any other options?”

Of course, there is another option: Harrison’s biological mother, Tara Locke.

If we were the judge, we’d have to look at the fact that Summer once threatened to withhold the part of her liver that Lola needed to survive if Kyle wouldn’t marry her. We’d look at the fact that she once seduced her own mother’s boyfriend (hey, Billy) out of spite. We’d look at the fact that she involved attorneys in her and Kyle’s dispute in less time than it takes to get through a commercial break.

As for Kyle, the judge would have to take into consideration the fact that he cheated on Summer with Audra and the fact that he reacted to troubles at work by backstabbing his entire family to head up a company with which he hopes to destroy them. That’s some questionable role-modeling there, folks!

And if you think Claire is automatically going to be in her boss’ corner, think again.

So if we were the judge, we’d petition to have Tara released from prison early so that she could take primary custody of Harrison, then work out her own visitation schedule with Kyle and Summer. Perhaps supervised visitation, even. It’s not like the boy was ever kidnapped on Tara’s watch!
