Joshua’s Son Steps into the Spotlight on B&B

Crew Morrow, the son of The Young and the Restless star Joshua, is set to play Will Spencer. The character is the son of Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). Both actors were Joshua’s former Y&R co-stars. Heather played Nick’s sister, Victoria Newman, and Don played Brad Carlton. Crew will make his soap debut on B&B on August 1st.

Fans are pumped to see him bring some teen drama, romance, and angst to the show. As for Joshua, who also started on Y&R at nineteen, he is thrilled to see his 19-year-old son follow in his footsteps. When asked about Crew starting his daytime soap career, Morrow senior shared, “This is huge for us.”He continued, “I’ve got four kids, and Crew is the one who has picked up a new passion every six months.”

Additionally, the proud father recalled how he discovered Crew’s plans. It turns out Crew was heading to school in Oregon when he told his mom. He was like, “This isn’t for me. I’m going home to write movies and act.” Subsequently, Joshua then had a serious talk with Crew. He revealed, “I told him it’s not that easy, but he said, ‘You did it.’ So, we supported him.”

Interestingly, the young lad wrote a few screenplays and took a screenwriting class and an acting class. So, Joshua introduced Crew to his manager, and he landed a couple of movie roles, and this part on B&B. The Y&R star added, “He’s just like me. It’s uncanny.” Furthermore, he’s sure that Crew has a bright future and can’t wait for everyone to meet his son.

“He’s more ambitious and dedicated than I ever was. He’s going to be a big deal. Mark my words.” Talk about a good father! Keep an eye on Soap Opera Daily for more updates on The Young and the Restless celebs. Buckle up and watch Crew make his mark in the soap opera world just like his dad!
