Young And The Restless Scoop July 3: Kyle Tells Diane She’s The Same Selfish Woman Who Abandoned Him – Nate And Audra Kiss – Billy’s Shocking Realization
The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, July 3 reveals Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will tell Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) she can’t reclaim the years she wasn’t there for him.
Also coming up, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will share a smooch. Plus, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will vent to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). And Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will come to a shocking realization about Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Y&R spoilers tease Audra and Nate will flirt. Nate will say he always knew she was destined for great things. “Seeing you the way I did I never understood why you had to team up with Tucker.” But he’s glad Audra finally embraced she can and will accomplish anything she wants, all on her own.

Nate will add he thinks she deserves a celebration for her triumph and they’ll toast to her success. He’ll walk Audra to the stairs and she’ll tell him she’d like to invite him upstairs but she’s not going to. So, they’ll settle for a kiss goodnight instead.
Meanwhile, Summer will meet up with Chance and he’ll say she won’t believe what happened. “Billy managed to get the Chancellor-Winters board to separate the companies,” he’ll spill, adding his uncle wants to rename it Abbott-Chancellor. But he’ll have even more news. “Guess who Billy wants to be his new COO?” An excited Summer will congratulate him.
However, Chance will say he has mixed feelings. “There’s just something about this demerger that doesn’t feel right.” He’ll admit he thinks Billy is taking advantage of something but he can’t tell her what it is. But Summer will suggest that instead of questioning it, they should celebrate this news.
At Crimson Lights, Billy will remind a downcast Lily that they won. She’ll say she can’t stop thinking about Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) reasons for opposing the split. But Billy will say he thinks she’ll come around and they’re moving forward. “Unless my mother’s feelings have somehow changed all that.” And Lily will say it has changed a lot, maybe everything.
She’ll say she needs to think about everything without him pressuring her. He’ll ask if whatever she’s thinking about will affect him. “Yes, if I leave the company, it will,” Lily will reply. Then she’ll say he could easily run it without her.
They’ll argue and it’ll lead Billy to an important question. “Lily, have you been playing me this entire time?” he’ll ask. “It’s really amazing actually, why else would you walk away?” But she’ll deny it and storm off.
At the Abbott estate, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will ask Kyle how Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) would know he left Jabot. “Has Victor offered you a job at Newman?” Diane will add. Kyle will smirk and say it might be a good fit, but what he does from here on out is none of their business.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Jack Warns His Son About Victor
Jack will say whatever Victor’s offering him, it’s not worth it. It’ll end up with Victor on top because it always does. “So what are you saying?” Kyle will ask. “I’m no match for Victor.” But Jack will say he knows Victor, he takes advantage of everyone he meets. “If he wants to hire you, there is some self-serving, nefarious reason behind it.”
Kyle will tell Jack he doesn’t want, or need, him looking out for him. He’ll also tell his mother she voluntarily left when he did need care and guidance and she doesn’t get to reclaim that now. But Diane will say she thought they’d come to terms with the past.
“I thought so too, until I realized you are the same coldhearted woman who cuts me out of her life when it’s in her own self interest,” Kyle will reply. He’ll add that she says his actions got him fired, but her actions have shown him how selfish she is. “From now on my career, my decisions, are no longer your concern.”
When Kyle storms upstairs, a teary-eyed Diane will tell Jack all about her conversation with Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc). They both suspect Victor is plotting retaliation against him. Jack will say he realizes Kyle is furious with them. “But you honestly think he’s mad enough to team up with Victor?” he’ll ask Diane. “God, I thought he was over this, clearly I was wrong. He has been lured to the dark side before.”
Finally, Kyle will come downstairs and say he thinks it’s time he found another place for he and Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell) to live. But his parents will beg him not to leave. “You think things are tense now, it’s only the beginning,” Kyle will tell them. “Things are going to get way worse.” So, Diane will ask what that means. “You’ll find out soon enough,” Kyle will reply.
