The Almighty Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has acquired Glissade with plans to use another game of his version of chess to take down Jabot to get back at his forever rival Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Glissade owned by Victor Newman may likely offer just the opportunity Phyllis Summers needs to get back in the game personally & professionally while honoring Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) request to stay away from working with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

Newman Family Dynamics and Business Dealings
Obviously, Victor’s daughter Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is out of the loop regarding her father’s current business dealings. Speaking of Abby, when has she been in the loop with anything relevant to either side of her family on Young & the Restless? What’s different now is that Victor has the rest of the Newman family out of the loop right now as well as Abby. Either out of not paying attention or being a bit ignorant, Victor’s wife Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Victor’s daughter Victoria Newman (Ameilia Heinle), & even Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) have no idea about Victor’s newest acquisition.
While Victor claims to have Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) on as CEO & is on the verge of having dumbass Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) take him up on his offer to be Co-CEO with Audra at Glissade, nothing is ever locked in with Victor Newman. Victor’s game of chess is always in play & so is his son Adam Newman & his pending CEO position at Newman Media. It’s about time for Victor Newman & Phyllis Summers to be in the right place at the right time to discuss open-minded employment opportunities.
Sharon’s Perspective on Phyllis and Nick’s Relationship
Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is finally back from wherever she was hiding & continues to walk down Memory Lane in Genoa City. She & Nick’s daughter Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) have already had one heart-to-heart & Sharon revealed to her daughter that she sees Nick & Phyliss’s connection & wouldn’t be surprised if they got back together yet again.
Did Nick Newman just push himself back into Phyllis’s bed meanwhile keeping her away from Billy? No one has seen Nick Newman’s home or his son Christian in many, many months. Ergo, Phyllis will not be seeing Nick’s bed anytime soon, but everyone in Genoa City knows the GCAC is nice & who has a suite there.
