However, when a much-loved mainstay is at risk of falling off the canvas, things change drastically. And that’s exactly what’s happening with Y&R. Soap star, Michelle Stafford, who recently lifted the rather coveted Daytime Emmy trophy has been absent from the CBS soap for far too long now.

Now, news is coming in that actor Christopher Cousins will not be returning to the soap. For the unversed, he just winded up his act as the twins – Alan and Martin Laurent. With all these changes, fans are creating a furie on social media, asking the makers to reveal what Michelle Stafford’s status on Y&R is. They don’t want to lose Phyllis Summer just yet, or ever!
