The Young and the Restless Monday, June 17 Update: Nick Witnesses Sharon’s Fierce Outburst – Alan & Traci’s Dinner Date
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, June 17, reveals that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will fail to delay the board vote or change Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) mind about moving forward with her secret investor.
Although Tucker will have a hunch that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is behind this, Audra will insist she can’t reveal her investor’s identity.
Y&R spoilers say Tucker will make a prediction about getting payback on Audra before he stomps off.
Later, a video call will proceed with all the board members, but Tucker will start to feel unwell shortly before it begins.
That’ll lead to Tucker clutching his chest and collapsing, so the board vote will be postponed while Dawn (Gina Garcia-Sharp) summons a doctor to his room.
Audra will confront Tucker and act like he must be faking, so she’ll refuse to leave once the doctor arrives.
Instead, Audra will want the doctor to confirm that Tucker is a “fraudulent liar.”
However, Tucker will appear to be facing an actual medical crisis as he struggles to catch his breath and winces over the aches he’s feeling.
Meanwhile, Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) will meet with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) to discuss Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), who’ll seem strong and determined after her first night at her new clinic.
Once Jack suggests having lunch with Traci and Alan, he’ll exit to make his own hotel arrangements. That’ll give Alan a chance to ask Traci out to dinner later, so she’ll happily accept the invite.
Back in Genoa City, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will seem a little over the top happy after she overhears some wonderful news about Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) progress.
Afterward, Sharon will fly into a rage during a business phone call, so Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will find that out of character and question her about it.
Sharon will admit she’s cranky due to lack of sleep and blame it on a medication adjustment period.
It turns out Sharon’s doctor changed her bipolar meds to be on the safe since her blood sugar had been a tad high.
Sharon will point out that her new medication is very similar and doesn’t have as many side effects.
Once Sharon asks for help with a business project she’s tackling, Nick will gladly pitch in.
At Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) place, he’ll sit down with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) for a video call with Connor.
Things will go really well due to Connor’s breakthrough, so he’ll share how he ate soup – which was previously a food he was scared to eat.
Connor will seem like he’s in much better spirits and will actually communicate with his parents instead of pushing them away. Chelsea will take Adam’s hand as they celebrate this victory together.
Since Connor will finally be ready for an in-person visit with Adam and Chelsea, Adam will agree to make all the travel arrangements.
Once Adam gets his brother on the phone, Nick will encourage him to take the Newman jet and focus on Connor instead of all the corporate stuff.
After Adam hangs up with Nick, he’ll see Victor’s text and realize his dad wants to meet with him right away.
