Y&R Spoilers: Is Summer Recatching Feelings For Kyle? Love Triangle With Claire On The Horizon?
Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest it’s been a hot minute since Summance has been seen in Genoa City, as Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) has been more preoccupied with her stepson Harrison Abbott’s (Redding Munsell) safety as of late, then her romance.
Rightfully so, however, fans can’t help but feel as if she might be re-catching feelings for her ex-hubby, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), especially after Friday’s episode.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Skyle Are On The Same Page
Y&R spoilers note that during Friday’s show, Kyle and Summer seemed like they were finally on the same page where Harrison was concerned.
Summer okayed a trial run for Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) to be their son’s nanny, and while she was nervous, she and Kyle left the mansion for work and ended up sharing a coffee at Crimson.
But it was their talk at Crimson that was very interesting. Kyle revealed to Summer about his issues with Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) and how he went over his mom’s head with a Jabot deal, despite her order not to.
Summer noted that it was “interesting” how one of the biggest factors in their breakup was her distrust for his mom, and now Kyle seems to see it too.
It’s hard to ignore the sentiment. It’s also hard not to ignore that Kyle confided in Summer. Mix in the fact that “something” is going on between him and Claire, and it’s also hard to ignore that the three won’t get caught up in a love triangle.
Y&R – The Chance Chancellor Factor
On top of all this, it seems as if Conner Floyd (Chance Chancellor) has been dropped to recurring status on the show.
This doesn’t mean fans will not see Chance on canvas, but as he’s not on contract, he may not be seen as regularly as viewers would like. Could this signal a breakup between him and Summer?
There are a lot of other characters on recurring status that get plenty of screen time, so it’s hard to say what will happen with Summance.
For now, as fans haven’t seen them together, their relationship has seemingly fizzled. It’s also undeniable that a love triangle between Claire, Kyle, and Summer would be interesting.
Especially in light of Claire desperately wanting Summer’s acceptance (and a relationship with her); only to feel torn if her cousin starts recatching feelings for the man she’s also interested in.
