The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, May 31, reveal that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will meet with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) so he can break some bad news in person. Since Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) can’t handle Jack being Nikki’s sponsor anymore, he’ll insist Nikki will have to find another one.

Jack will be sorry for bailing on Nikki and will wish he could help Diane understand, but she just won’t budge.

This is something that could cause the end of Jack’s marriage, so he’ll explain that he needs to take Diane’s threats seriously.

Nikki certainly won’t want to cause any more trouble than she already has for Jack. Since Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) warned Jack away from Nikki anyway, she may acknowledge this will spare her some drama in her own marriage as well.

Whatever the case, Nikki will accept Jack’s decision and appreciate everything he did to help her reach this point in her sobriety.

Next on Friday’s Y&R episode, Victor will punish Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) for his recent betrayal.

Since Michael went behind Victor’s back with Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck), Victor could easily fire him and insist his legal services are no longer needed for the Newman family.

It’s clear that Michael broke the trust between them, so he’ll make him pay for that one way or another!

Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will reach an understanding with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), so they’ll agree to put the past behind them.

That should pave the way for Sally to take over Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) job temporarily – and you can bet she’ll have lots of good ideas about Marchetti’s winter collection.

Of course, many fans are eager to see what happens next in Paris with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) and a man who appears to be Alan’s sinister twin or lookalike.

However, there’s no sign of Ashley or Alan in Friday’s spoilers, so viewers may have to wait until the week of June 3-7 for more developments related to that storyline.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashley will get updates on her buried trauma eventually, so stick with us for more predictions on the twin twist and the horror that could lead to.
