The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Ashley’s Trauma, Jack’s Family Pressure Triggered DID Alters?
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that everyone is wondering what triggered Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) dissociative identity disorder (DID) crisis. While Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) blames Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), could there be a twist?
It seems all the pressure Jack puts on everyone, including Ashley, could be too much. If Ashley reunited with Tucker, she would never hear the end of it from Jack. So, could Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) uncover that while helping Ashley?
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Ashley Abbott’s DID Crisis
Y&R spoilers reveal that Ashley came back from Paris and was different. Something seemed to trigger Ashley’s current mental health crisis. Everyone assumed it was the breakup with Tucker. However, Ashley also had a flashback of losing her unborn child in a car accident.
Then, Alan explained to Jack and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) that something traumatic must have happened after the breakup but before Ashley returned to Genoa CIty.
Then, Traci recalled that Ashley sent her back home while she stayed in Paris. When Ashley returned, she was a bit different and claimed to be over Tucker. Looking back, it seems that it was Ms. Abbott that returned from Paris, not Ashley.
Y&R Spoilers – Tucker McCall Villainized
Meanwhile, Jack has wasted no time blaming everything on Tucker. This includes Ashley’s mental health crisis. There is a lot of bad blood and history between Tucker and the Abbott family. Tucker hasn’t made the best decisions and often goes to extremes.
However, Tucker kept trying to tell Jack that something was wrong with Ashley. Tucker also said the same thing to Traci, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James), as well as Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway). Nobody would listen.
Now that Eileen’s character has collapsed, Tucker got through to the real Ashley. It was Tucker that convinced Ashley to go home to her family and get help.
Still, Jack blames Tucker for all of this despite Ashley making it clear that her ex did the right thing.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Jack Abbott’s Family Pressure
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Alan will probably figure out what led to Ashley’s crisis. Is it possible that through talk therapy, Ashley might realize that Jack – not Tucker – is the source of her issues.
Ashley might have broken up with Tucker, but she would have to go home and face her family.
Jack has put so much pressure on Ashley, especially in regards to her romantic relationships. It might have been too much for Ashley to bear to hear all of Jack’s “I told you so’s” or “I can’t believe you’re going back to Tucker AGAIN.” I mean, Ashley is a grown woman and can make her own decisions.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Regret & Relapse?
With Jack relapsing to “save” Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), it’s only a matter of time before the Abbott patriarch has his own addiction crisis.
Jack flirted with the devil and while he hasn’t gone back to pills yet, it’s only a matter of time now that he’s had a taste of it again.
If Jack learns he is responsible for Ashley’s DID crisis, could that regret and guilt lead to him having a catastrophic relapse?
