The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, May 20, reveals that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will tell Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) about his upcoming dinner with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), but he’ll make it clear that it’s not a date.

Meanwhile, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will mistakenly assume Audra got her relationship with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) back on track.

Although Sally will suspect Audra’s all dressed up for a date night with Tucker, Audra will offer news on her dinner with Nate instead.

There’ll be some flirting going on as Nate and Audra have a meal together at Society, where Tucker will spot them and try to drag Audra off to talk.

When Audra refuses, Tucker will encounter Sally and quiz her about whether he’s losing Audra.

Sally won’t think it’s too late for Tucker to turn things around, but she’ll definitely push him to get his act together ASAP.

Next, Tucker will arrive at Audra’s suite and interrupt her nightcap with Nate, who’ll answer the door and push him to accept that Audra’s done.

Once Nate shuts the door on him, Tucker will look exasperated.

At the Abbott mansion on Monday’s Y&R episode, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will strike a deal over the phone while Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) waits for the same client to meet her at the jazz lounge.

Summer and Claire will head down to the jazz lounge, where Claire will make a strong case for why she should be Harrison’s nanny.

Although Claire will insist she no longer poses any kind of threat, Summer will confess that she just doesn’t believe that.

Back at the Abbott house, Diane will blast Kyle for undermining her once again, but Kyle will counter that Jasper Foley doubted her negotiating abilities.

Kyle will invite Diane to take credit for the deal with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), but Diane will want Kyle to stop swooping in like this instead.

Although Diane will give Kyle a direct order not to finalize the deal, he’ll secretly call to have the papers drawn up and will consider it a done deal anyway.

At Chancellor-Winters, Billy will send a flower arrangement and a balloon that Devon will promptly pop.

Based on the card, it’ll be Billy’s way of poking fun at Lily and Devon’s failed attempt to cut off his power.

Lily won’t be happy when Devon admits he turned to Tucker for assistance, but Devon will suggest he’s already seen the error of his ways.

Devon will contend that they either have to force Billy out of the company somehow or dismantle the merger altogether.

Lily will come clean about Billy trying to join forces with her and demote Devon, so she’ll think they can use that desire to their advantage.

It turns out Lily will want to convince Billy that she’s ready to team up, but she’ll only do it on the condition that Chancellor parts ways with Winters.

After Lily notes that Billy and Jill want to keep her at Chancellor, she’ll make a prediction about getting them on board.

From there, Lily will plan to leave Billy and Jill to their own devices, so she’ll basically want to trick them into undoing the merger and then abandon them to join her real family’s business.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily could be playing with fire if this plot goes wrong, so stick with us for updates on how all this will play out!

After Diane faces Tucker’s questions about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and whether he might return to Jabot, she’ll get a call from her client and realize Kyle struck the deal behind her back.

As for Kyle, he’ll invite Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) over and get her excited when he officially offers her the nanny position.

Claire will accept the job and be willing to start tomorrow, but then she’ll discover Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) doesn’t agree with this decision.

That’ll be a deal-breaker for Claire, who’ll turn down the offer after all.

Kyle will still think Claire is the best person to help Harrison right now, so he’ll vow to keep trying to win Summer over and will want Claire to reconsider.

Claire will wind up stopping by Summer’s suite, so she’ll ultimately explain that she rejected the nanny job out of respect for Summer’s feelings.

That said, Claire will hope to change Summer’s mind about her.
